Is the Belgium M97 a good choice for rucking?

The M97 is a vintage power-house, it holds as much as you can carry. If you can walk 5 miles with this pack fully loaded, you’ve got some muscle.
Designed in the 1990s, these are a perfect blend of style and utility. The camo pattern is unique, and it blends very well in vegetation throughout the midwest. The material is very sturdy, yet flexible to conform to unwieldly items. There is a waterproof lining that prevents water from entering the pack.

My favorite part about the pack is the detachable compartments. If desired, you can ‘size-down’ to reduce bulk, while retaining a very adequate capacity. I’d reckon that the minimized pack still holds more gear than most camping packs that you’d find at an outdoors store, and you can be confident that this pack will not rip or tear. Point is, your spine will give out before this pack falls apart. I wouldn’t be suprised if these Belgium Military Surplus backpacks outlast our biological mortality, these are truly spectacular.
